“Local authorities have created all conditions for production facilities to improve product quality, produce many types, build brands and meet environmental sanitation, food safety and hygiene criteria in labor and production. Many typical products such as dried shrimp, fish cakes, fish sauce, crab meat... have been certified with 3-star and 4-star OCOP and are highly appreciated by consumers for their quality,” Mr. Binh said.
In the coming time, the district will continue to promote propaganda and guidance on implementation of OCOP products; Promote trade promotion, promote, introduce and market OCOP products in many forms, including conducting trade promotion for products with 3 stars or higher.

“Dam Doi District People’s Committee has directed functional departments to quickly complete procedures for upgrading OCOP products to 5 stars, orienting the subjects of 4-star products to plan to upgrade to 5 stars,” Mr. Binh added.
